Writ Petition in Calcutta High Court(Appellate Side)


The petitioner applied fresh online application for new CESC meter connection on 01.01.2023 vide CESC Reference No. 14/02011/23  in his residence at Mouza Jhalkura, Dag No. 195, Khatian No. 70, Bastu Land, District South 24 Parganas, Kolkata- 700141.

          There is a CESC service connection within radius of less than one meter from the CESC meter room of the petitioner.  The private respondents 4, 5 and other relatives of the petitioner enjoy CESC electric meters from the same CESC service connection         
          The CESC inspection personnel by accepting bribe from the private respondents 4 and 5 deliberately false fabricated inspection report that CESC service connection not accessible to the CESC meter room of the petitioner.

          The petitioner is entitled to get CESC electricity meter connection in this own residence for his exclusive use at Mouza Jhalkura, Dag No. 195, Khatian No. 70, District South 24 Parganas, P.S. Mahestala, Kolkata 700141, in terms of Calcutta High Court in judgment in Samsul Haque Mollick vCESC Ltd., AIR 2006 Cal 73, Anjali Metia and Others Vs. West Bengal State Electricity Board and Others, Amarendra Singh Vs. CESC Limited and Others, Gyananendranath Shil Vs. Superintending Engineer and Others,  and Debadas Biswas Vs. West Bengal State Electricity Board and Others
