The Patents (Convention Countries) (Amendment) Order 1995


Section 90(1) of the Patents Act 1977, declares the countries specified in the Schedule to this order to be convention countries for the purposes of section 5 of the Act . The countries specified in Part 1 and Part 2 of the Schedule have acceded to the International Convention for the Protection of Industrial Property . The appropriate amendments are made to the list of such countries contained in Schedule 1 to the Patents (Convention Countries) Order 1994 . The countries specified in Part 3 of the Schedule to this Order are countries not party to the Paris Convention but are countries each of which is party to the Agreement Establishing the World Trade Organisation .
