SC Invites Suggestions & Views on 105 Applications of Lawyers for Designation as Senior Advocates

The Supreme Court has published the names of 105 advocates who have applied for designation as Senior Advocate of Supreme Court, according to a LiveLaw report.

The notice invites suggestions and views from stakeholders on the proposal, for consideration by the Committee for Designation as Senior Advocates (CDSA). Such suggestions and views have been directed to be submitted to the CDSA Secretariat within 15 days.

The Supreme Court’s action has been done in conformity with the guidelines issued by the administrative side of the top court, in view of its ruling in Oct last year on Senior Indra Jaisng’s petition.
