Kerala HC designates 3 lawyers as senior advocates

The Kerala High Court has conferred senior designation to three advocates – George Poomthottam, P Viswanathan, and Gopinath Menon.

Having enrolled as an advocate in 1979, Poomthottam has previously served as standing counsel for Kerala University.

Viswanathan has been practicing as an advocate since 1986. He is widely respected for his handling of civil matters.

Gopinath Menon has 22 years experience working as an advocate at the bar, and currently is the partner of law firm Menon & Pai.

This is the first time when the Kerala HC has conferred senior designations in accordance with the newly framed High Court of Kerala (Designation of Senior Advocates Rules), 2018 notified on February 1.
