High Court permits to opt for Physical Hearing of Cases from Nov 2 on agreement of both the Parties

On Friday 23, 2020 a notice has been issued by High Court of Jharkhand allowing physical hearing of cases along with hearing through video conference. The apex court has directed that physical hearings may commence from November 2nd, 2020 provided both the parties agree to it.

The notice also stated that the petitioners must mention what kind of hearing (physical/virtual) they want, and on that basis the opposite party must submit a letter of consent. An email address has also been provided with the notice, directing the petitioners to mail their option to the Court on that particular mail id.

According to the directions of the Supreme Court, HC has been hearing cases only on a digital basis since the Coronavirus outbreak.
