Delhi government's budget grants electricity subsidy for lawyers' chambers within courts

New Delhi: During the annual budget presentation to the Assembly for 2022-23, the Delhi government announced that the existing electricity subsidy scheme will be extended to Lawyers' Chambers inside court premises.

Manish Sisodia, the Finance Minister and Delhi's Deputy Chief Minister, announced that the free electricity up to 200 units and subsidy for those consuming up to 400 units schemes would be extended to Lawyers' Chambers within the city's court premises.

The aforementioned subsidy has been in place since 2015, when the AAP gained full control of the Delhi government.
