Advocate Manish Sharma, who shot Uttar Pradesh Bar Council President Darvesh Yadav in Agra District Court premises, died in Medanta hospital in Gurugram on 22nd June, where he was undergoing treatment after he shot himself in his head after shooting Darvesh Yadav.

Darvesh Yadav was the first woman President of the Uttar Pradesh Bar Council while Sharma was her close associate. On the day of the shooting, the two allegedly got into an argument and according to eye-witnesses, Sharma pulled out a pistol and shot Yadav.
