PRESENTER PROFILE :

Shivangi Prasad holds a B.L.S.LL.B. Degree from Government Law College, Mumbai. She is an advocate, specializing in laws related to sexual harassment, gender and child rights. She is the co-Founder of POSH at Work (www.poshatwork.com - a legal cum psychology firm) which is also empaneled by Ministry of Women & Child Development, Government of India since February, 2017. As part of POSH at Work, she is assisting 300+ organizations with compliance of law against sexual harassment at workplace and acting as an external member of internal committee of 20+ organizations. She has handled 200+ complaints of sexual harassment, conducted 250+ training / awareness sessions involving 1,00,000+ individuals. She has spoken at various events including, Women Economic Forum (Kerala), CII (IWN) etc. She was also a part of a discussion with United Nations Women on Sexual Harassment at Workplace.

She has also co-authored a book titled ‘Handbook on the Law of Sexual Harassment,’ both editions published by Thomson Reuters and written various articles / notes / opinions on the subject on www.poshatwork.com. Some have also been published by Huffington Post, Gender Matters, Business Standard etc. Here are some of her articles on the law related to transgender persons:
