Investment Incetives and Investment Areas Reserved for Domestic Investors Regulation


This regulation stipulates two types of rules governing investment in ETHIOPIA. The regulation provides sectors which are reserved for domestic investors, which means are restricted for foreign investors to engage in. The regulation has annex with list of areas which are eligible to incentives. The incentive takes a form of income tax exemption. The exemption various between one year and five years depending on the type of investment and the area where the investment will be conducted.
