SupremeCourt hears an appeal by Jammu and Kashmir govt stating that Kashmiri girl had obtained loan from the state government to study medicine at a community college in Bangladesh and later changed her college preference to Khwaja Yunus Ali Medical College, Bangladesh

DYC J: “There is lax on her part, she is a youngster, have we not done mistakes when were young?

Suryakant J: We need to uplift the youth of Kashmir by educating them, our interference will act contrary to it.

Justice DY Chandrachud: Yes mistake is there on her part, but we all have done mistakes in our youth

Justice Surya Kant: We need to promote the youth of Kashmir by educating them and setting aside HC order will impact it negatively

Advocate Taruna Prasad, standing counsel for J&K insists for notice in the case since there was a "breach of trust"

Supreme Court: If the appeal is allowed then loan resources to Kashmiri youth will be canceled. Thus dismissed.

ORDER:
The consequence of accepting this plea will amount to cancelling loan resources of a youth from J&K to pursue her medical education. Dismissed.
