Due to the tremendous upsurge in the number of Covid-19 cases in the state of Punjab, Haryana, and UT Chandigarh, the Punjab and Haryana Court has decided to function virtually.

This has been done to ensure the safety and well being of the Hon’ble judges and other staff.

The notice reads as follows:

"The Administrative committee of the High Court in consultation with the Additional Solicitor General, Union of India, Advocate General for the state of Punjab and Haryana, Senior Standing Counsel, UT Chandigarh Administration, President and Secretary HC Bar Association Chandigarh and President, Senior Advocates’ Bar Association has solemnly decided that all Hon’ble Benches will hear the cases through Virtual Platforms."
