Senior Supreme Court Advocate, Prashant Bhushan mentioned a matter today before the Supreme Court related to the closing of a corruption case against Karnataka Chief Minister, BS Yeddyurappa of Bhartiya Janta Party. He told the court that the petition filed in September has not come up for hearing till now.

The Supreme Court said it will come up for hearing after winter vacation.

The issue of corruption was related to the denotification of land admeasuring 4.20 acres alleged to be in contravention of the Karnataka Restriction of Transfer of Land Act, 1991 also in violation of the Indian Penal Code, 1960 and the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988.
