The Supreme Court on Friday (August 21, 2020) refused to entertain a plea seeking setting up of a three-judge panel to inquire into the conduct of former Chief Justice of India Ranjan Gogoi, as a judge of the Apex Court.

A Bench of the Apex Court, headed by Justice Arun Mishra dismissed the petition filed by one, Arun Ramchandra Hublikar.

“We dismiss the petition. There is no merit in it. The respondent is already demitted his office,” the Bench, led by Justice Mishra said and rejected the petition filed by Hublikar.
