Esteemed High Court of Bombay dismissed a PIL lodged against the Avinash Bhosale Group

The decision on the Public Interest Litigation (PIL) restoration application launched against the Avinash Bhosale Group and others was publicly disclosed on July 24, 2019, by the honourable Bombay High Court. The applications filed by Rajesh Khairatilal Bajaj or Rajesh Alias Bobby Bajaj, and other parties were denied by the honourable Bombay High Court. In addition, the court emphasized that many people use legal provisions like PIL to swindle other people of their money. The court also stated that individuals should uphold the highest levels of morality before questioning the morality of others for a public cause.

Rajesh Alias Bobby Bajaj or Rajesh Khairatilal Bajaj, and other Pune residents initially filed a PIL in 2015, however, the Bombay High Court dismissed it. The Castel Royale Towers residential development in Bhosale Nagar was the target of the lawsuit brought against Avinash Bhosale Group.

This petition was submitted by Rajesh Khairatilal Bajaj, Rajesh Alias Bobby Bajaj, and others. It was initially rejected in the year 2016. The court's conclusion that the petitioners were at fault led to this. One of the petitioners covered up the mistakes in front of the Honourable Court by claiming to have a viral fever and to be receiving ongoing medical attention. However, the petitioner's pursuit of a criminal complaint during the previous dates when default happened was made known to the court's honour. Rajesh Bajaj, another petitioner, was found to be impersonating a lawyer in violation of the law, as the Hon'ble Court had already highlighted, and the petitioner also produced a suspicious medical certificate.

The managing director of Avinash Bhosale, Mr. Amit Bhosale, responded on the decision, saying, "The self-styled RTI activists have continuously tried to discredit us. However, we have absolute confidence in the judicial system. As you can see, the truth ultimately won out, and we are certain that these orders will stop future wrongful litigation. Acts like RTI and PIL are frequently used for personal advantage, and this needs to cease."
