Mr. UBB Krishna Rao, 82, expired during October 2017. He left behind a House in PM Palem. His Wife Mrs. Sakuntala is around 73 years old now. He has 3 daughters and 1 son. He left behind a Will, contents of which are fully acceptable to all his grown-up children. We obtained a Death Certificate in respect of the deceased person. We want Ownership of the House to be transferred in the name of the widow i.e. Mrs. Urlam Sakuntala. This Transfer is required mainly to enable her obtain a Visa to travel abroad. Without the house being in her name, we will not be able to obtain NET WORTH CERTIFICATE which is an essential requirement, as per Visa pre-requisites. I am the active member of the family, based out of Hyderabad. Please advise how to go about it AND what is the time frame for organising such transfer of ownership. Various steps may be needed such as : (a) probating the will and / or (b) Obtaining Legal Heir Certificate from competent authority, etc. etc. I am looking for a single window i.e. an Advocate who can deal with all matters relating to the subject, on PRIORITY Basis. Kindly review and advise.
