Caveat Petition under Section 148-A of the C.P.C. read with Rule 8 (3) of HP State Administrative Rules 1987 against the OA which may be filed by the respondent for hearing the applicant/caveators before granting any ad-interim stay order.

148-A. Right to lodge a caveat.- (1) Where an application is expected to be made, or has been made, in a suit or proceeding instituted, or about to be instituted, in a court, any person claiming a right to appear before the court on the hearing of such application may lodge a caveat in respect thereof.

the applicant/caveator apprehends that the respondent will file O.A. or M.A. in this Hon'ble Tribunal and would obtain ex-parte stay order against the caveator or in the manner and matter affecting the caveator.
