Register Of Wages Required To Be Maintained By Small Establishments


This document is a format for the Register of Wage which shall be maintained by the small enterprises, enshrined with the basic details of the employee and wages earned which is grand total after adding the dearness allowance, over-time, bonuses to basic wages and subtracting the fines imposed due to negligent act, provident fund, employees’ state insurance, other deductions. The small enterprises necessarily maintain Register of wages in Form B and other registers in Form C, D & E, to avail exemption from filing returns, failure to which employer will be liable to penalty if neither return is filed nor registers are maintained as prescribed under Section 4 of The Labour Laws (Exemption from Furnishing Returns and Maintaining Registers by Certain Establishments) Act, 1988.
