Form VI Government Of India Of The Licensing Officer


This document is a format for License which is granted by the Government of India to the contractor to employee contract labour at its work site. Section 12 of Contract Labour (Regulation & Abolition) Central Rules, 1971 mandates every contractor to have a license issued from the government to undertake or execute any work through contract labour at the work site. The license comes with the conditions, particulars, condition as to hours of work, fixation of wages and many other requirements to be established while employing contractual labour. The license granted to the contractor is for specific time period which is mentioned on the license & can be renewed further by application and a copy of the license shall be displayed prominently at the premises where the contract work is carried on.
