Form Of Memorandum Of Cross Objections To The Appellate Tribunal


The purpose of this form is served under Rule 6 of wealth tax Act, 1957 which states the exclusion of assets and debts outside India which means in computing the net wealth of an individual who is not a citizen of India or of an individual or a Hindu undivided family not resident in India or resident but not ordinarily resident in India, or of a company not resident in India during the year ending on the valuation date. Under Section 24 of wealth tax Act, 1957 states the appeal to the Appellate Tribunal from orders of the Deputy Commissioner which means an assessee objecting to an order passed by the Deputy Commissioner or the Commissioner under section 18 or section 18A or section 23, or sub-section (2) of section 37 may appeal to the Appellate Tribunal within sixty days of the date on which the order is communicated to him. The Form No. 5 is to be submitted to the Income Tax Appellate Tribunal.
