Form No. 8 Modification Of Charges

The purpose of this form is served under Section 125 of the Companies Act, 1956 which states certain charges to be void against liquidator or creditors unless registered which means that every charge in relation to the security on the company’s property against the liquidator shall be void if the charge created or evidenced is not verified in the prescribed manner whereas Section 127 of this Act states the registration of charges on properties acquired subject to charge and this Section applies when a company acquires any property which is subject to a charge of any such kind as would, if it had been created by the company after the acquisition of the property, charge may include mortgage and Section 135 states  provisions of Part to apply to modification of charges.
