Form D Summons

Summons under legal dictionary is defined as an official order requiring a person to attend court, either to answer a charge or to give evidence, or the writ making such an order. This document is a format of a summon for industrial dispute issued by Board, Court, Labour Court, Tribunal or National Tribunal under Rule 17 of The Industrial Dispute (Central) Rules, 1987, to call upon a person to produce book, papers or other documents and things relating to the matter which he is in control or in possession. Any summon which is served shall specifically mention the name of the case or name of parties in dispute along with date and time for his appearance before the concerned authority. If any of the above information is not specified then summon is not considered to be duly served.
