Employers expanding operations to other countries should seek to understand the strengths and disadvantages of various approaches to international payroll before implementing a system, officials from a global payroll service provider said June 2.
Implementing global payroll systems can be a multiyear project, and “if you don’t have a plan, a vision, organizational buy-in, these projects can get stalled and complicated,” said Paul Bartlett, CEO of CloudPay.
