International law firm expands its downtown Dallas operation

Zelle LLP is in the Bank of America Plaza.

An international law firm is expanding its downtown Dallas office with a new lease that will keep it in a landmark building.

Zelle LLP is extending its lease in the Bank of America Plaza, where it’s been for more than a decade.

The legal firm has more than 27,000 square feet of space in the 72-story downtown skyscraper.

“The firm’s Dallas office has renewed its lease in Bank of America Plaza and with that will be assuming the balance of the 40th floor of the building — approximately 5,000 additional square feet,” Zelle attorney Brian Odom said in an email. “The entire floor will be renovated, with current projections to complete the project in the first quarter of 2020.”

Net downtown Dallas office leasing through the first nine months of 2019 has totaled more than 350,000.
